Description

I have pride of place, as I am made only in the Chettinad region.

The nagarathar community founded the recipe, and they have passed it on for generations.

I am made using a unique mix of gram flour mixed with coconut cubes and fried gram dhal in jaggery syrup.

I go as a part of the bridal gift to the groom’s house. Besides, I am also given to all the important people who attend the marriage as a return gift.
