I am the mainstay of Chettinad snacks – I am the first one that comes to everyone’s mind.

Who am I?

I belong to the murukku family.

You can make out that I hail from Tamil Nadu from the name itself. I like the fact that no one knows my history and lineage to date.

I am made of Rice flour and Urad flour, and I am one of the crispiest snacks ever made. However, crispiness means that I am easily breakable during shipping and transportation. That still doesn’t take away my taste.

I taste good when you have me in isolation, with Coffee and Tea, and as a part of the side dish with your lunch meal.

I am an all seasons snack.
